I am getting ready to do a K/N refit on my '93 pushrod. Does anyone know exactly what that sensor on the OEM box is for or how to bypass it if need be before I trash the black plastic for some nice polished stainless.

If i recall

It is a sensor that sends the air intake tempreature to the computer to let the engine know what the air temp coming into the engine is. I have the install thing from kkm and i will look to see exactly what it is. I believe it is one of the two on the air box cover. Ill hit you back soon.

all those things are is the emissions that ford had to put on the vehicle to recurculate fuel fumes. not important just plug them and be on your way

If your talking about the 2 lines that go into the air box..

1 goes from the air box, to the heat riser (the tube that goes from your exhaust manifold to air intake).. That one you can just take off (might as well take off the heat riser too)

The other one goes from the air box to the vacuum T on the intake, That one you must block off.
