air intake system....

does anyone know who would make an air intake system for a 2001 v8? I have a k&n filtercharger kit that I used for my 97 SOHC v6 and I tried to put it on my new truck but it doesn't fit right it bangs around too much. I had heard that someoen might be coming out with a type of metal pipe going into the air filter. any suggestions where I might find one of these?? thanks...

You could just buy a piece of dryer ducting and fabricate a small bracket to attach the filter/MAS setup to the inner fenderwell. JMHO.
