Hey all, after installing my body lift and 31's (slightly more offset rims), i noticed i had a tiny bit of sag in the front. I thought of buying those air shocks that you can just pressure up with your air compressor, to raise the front end the whole 3/8 inch i need to have it level, and let my tires wear even. After looking and looking, i can only find rear kits from companies like Monroe. Do any of you know if i can cross-reference some rear shocks from another vehicle to fit on the front of my explorer? I really need to do this preventative maintainence, tires arent cheap!!!
If any of you have any sort of idea or suggestion, please let me know. Thanks!

I think you would be better off getting new coil springs for the front. I think air adjustable shocks would be a bit harsh on the front end. You can get replacement coil springs from parts america for $65 to $75.

you notice 3/8" of sag? Jesus, I could hardly tell when we put my buddies 2" coil spacer kit on. Honestly, is it worth the time and money to fix that much sag? Why dont you get like a 4" lift that replaces all the springs front and back, then you'll be sittin pretty.

And what does having your tires wear even have anything to do with air shocks? Just get it aligned.

I used a tape measure ;) What i was saying was that all i would need to correct that sag and get my front tires sitting level would be a little bit of air pressure, but i guess not.

your right, it would work but IMO its not worth it. Hey, its your truck/budget
