I've heard about people removing the stock air silence to gain more horse power. What is the air silencer and what's it do? Is it alright to remove it and if so how do you go about doing such a thing
Stock air silencers do restrict hp, and the easiest way to remove them is to remove the factory intake and install a KKM air filter. The silencer only controls the exhaust tones - sound polution.
