Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, everyone!
Well, I need all y'all's input here: I have a K&N Gen II FIPK, Granatelli MAS, and just installed Airaid's throttle body spacer. It fits, but it messed up my idle rpms. First, it did idle at 1,800-2,000 rpm. After two battery disconnects/computer resets, it's "down" to 1,200-1,300 rpms (versus 800rpm before TBS). And I've had the Check Engine Light lit twice, in two days. When in gear (it's a stick), it's fine (maybe a couple hundred rpms lower) -except the CEL. Any sugestions? Anybody else had the same problem? Why the light? How can I change idle rpms for a '01 Ford 4.0l V6 SOHC? Thanks in advance for your help!
