Last week got done installing some Monroe Max Air shocks I scored off of E-Bay. The installation overall was fairly simple. Remove your factory shocks and mount in the new Airshocks. You will probably need to pull out on the new ones a little as they come compressed. Assemble the orings, lines, and valves and find a place to route the lines through the frame. It's much easier if you remove the spare tire as it was on mine. Actually, it might be required especially if you have dual or some kinda crazy exhaust set up. For the location of the valve stem, We drilled a small hole underneath the rear hatch compartment where your emergency jack stand is. All in all, so far I'm satisfied, it rides firmer and also alleviated that rear sag that All gen 2 Explorers are known for. Got the psi currently around 90. And while we were at it, went ahead and put some 2011 Mustang 5.0 badging on the fenders.
