I got the following from the Vintage Dirt Bike mailing list:

Hi All:

You need to know there's a poll being conducted by USA Today to see
whether off road riding should be banned from National Parks. The
results will be published the later part of May: AND IF WE DON'T WIN IT
CAN BE USED AGAINST US!!!

It is a toll free number to vote.

I just called and voted and it only took 15 seconds to complete the
call, including dialing.

The phone number for the NO vote is: 1-800-446-8406

This is for real, so get the word out NOW!

People please, stop posting how many multiple times you have called... its no big deal that you have called more then once, but if someone from some eco-freak group came on here and found that everyone on our side was calling in twenty times each, even though that thought probably already crossed their minds, its just more fuel for their fire... I'm sure there side is doing the same thing and it IS just a magazine poll, but they don't need hard proof that our side is cheating to sway the results....

... as if the GAGs (green advocacy groups) don't do the same thing in their publications? This is not a fair fight. It never has been. Witness the recent Clintonista federal land grab of 400,000+ acres in the Hume Lake area in California, now known as the Giant Sequoia Monument - all done in the name of 'protection'. With the stroke of a pen, Klinton bypassed public hearings, let alone due process of law, in creating a legacy which everyone knows is nothing more than payback to his GAG friends who gave lots of money to his and his comrades' campaigns. The moral: the other side uses every tool at their disposal. Why shouldn't we?
