Alignment after ball joints.

I just changed my passenger side upper ball joint. Do i really need an alignment? Everything appears to still be square.

Did you remove the control arm to do it? If not, then you're good.

If you did, then it depends on how much the arm shifted within the limits of the adjustment shims.

Yeah, I had too. I tried to replace the shims exactly, honestly, I think I'm good. I mean even If it did shift how much could it have gone!

it will mess with camber / caster not toe which you feel driving, only tire wear. so yes you would need an alignment if you removed the arm.
