Hey there. I want to replace my head lights, fog lights and dome lights to like a blue shade of color. But on my head lights, i would like tyo put some bulbs in like the luxury cars have, you know the plasma bulbs. I just would like anyones opinion on what i should do.

ANything would help.

the bulbs on luxury cars are an entirley different system than what we have.. they are HIDs.. high intensity discharge.. you can buy a set from philips, apc, and a few others, but the kits are about $1000.. as far as fogs.. you can get HID fogs from piaa and perhaps retro fit that into your stock lenses? turns and interior yer gonna need super/hypier white bulbs.. I'm yet to find a bulb that fits all interior and exterer lights yet.. I need some too.. cos I want to do the same thing to my interior

like already mentioned, those "super plasma" that you mentioned are HID and would be quite costly (plus you'd never be able to duplicate their performance because of the limitation of your stock lens). As for getting all lights of the same color, shouldn't be too hard, many companies such as GE, PIAA, and Sylvania offer some sort of a "white" line (PIAA is superwhite, I think Sylvanias is Cool White, and GE is Cool Bright) and they typically have bulbs for many different applications.

Best "blue type" bulbs I have seen are Solaris at www.autosupermart.com .
Having said that I dont think you "see" as well with them as you do with the PIAA. Any and all of the "HID/Blue" lights just about disapear on a rainy night when you need them the most.
They "look good" but you cant"see good".
I like PIAA the best....

yall think sylvania makes the coolwhite or w/e lights in 194, 529 (whatevers in the map light) and the rear interior lights? I'd like ta dictch those yellow things and get something I can see actual colors with.. although I'm broke.. my bulbs are all getting old and burning out.. so I need to do it soon

Autobahn (sp?) sent me their catalogue. I saw a HID conersion kit for around $600.

Just a note for anyone looking for Blue lights for the inside of your X... i went on a hunt today to replace my dome lights with Blue ones... No luck... every where I went (like 7 stores) no one had them... if anyone knows where to get them online let me know but I cant find them anywhere...
