altering factory keyless entry system

hey all,

i have a 2001 sport w/ factory keyless entry.

i was wondering if there was a way to add some sort of siren to the system - mainly because i would like it to "chirp" when i lock/unlock the doors, like the way aftermarket alarms do. right now, it just beeps the horn when i lock the doors (have to press 'lock' twice)

would this be possible?

I wouldn't waste my time with trying to add a siren to the factory alarm.. Get an aftermarket alarm from Viper or other reputable companies and install it. The stock ones don't provide enough security.

Find the horn output from the module (IIRC, GEM) Hook up your siren to that with a relay and you will be chirpin' instead of honkin'.

Where do I look for the horn output?
