I recently replaced my alternator and battery and still have the charging light on although very dim. I don't even have 12 volts at the battery when running. I shut it off and found at the alternator post the same voltage as on the battery so I am confident there is continuity. I cant find a fuse that runs the charging function but I believe the signal goes through the PCM and it has no fuse issues. Not sure what to do next. I cant see any other fuses or even anything that looks like a fusable link. The truck has never had issues before (original battery, alt and belt) and has 170K Alaska miles (tough miles). The alternator is a new not rebuilt bosch. Any ideas, photos or other help is appreciated.
