My Alternator on my 96 Explorer XLT 4.0 ohv is down for the count and I can't rebuild it
After pricing out a re-man at Advanced for $139. I am wondering why I even need a 130 amp Alt.
My AC no longer works and I am wondering if I can get a lower amp alt as a replacement. I have read that they make a 90 amp one but I don't know if it is plug and play or if it will even be big enough. I only run the lights, radio and cruse...
Any suggestions or comments ?
Many thanks,
