and battery is load tested good... still have the battery light on in the dash.... voltages at battery are 12.51-12.90 before I start.... 14.25-14.51 while at 1100-1200 rpm..... when replacing serp belt this am... noticed that pulley and center bolt were magnetized......I found this quite odd....I have replaced a few alts in my time...never had one magnetise on me....I have a 1997 explorer sport 4.0 sohc with a 156k on it....any suggestions? balt reman alt? bad ground??? any advice will be a help.... thanks in advance!
