I've only posted on a few other threads, but I've posted quite a few questions of my own. Is that generally frowned upon in this forum? Cuz I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to the specifics, especially when it comes to Fords. I've grown up helping my dad repair his 5 GM trucks. So is it wrong of me to keep asking questions and not give back?

The main thing is to do a little searching before you ask a question. Most of the time you will find the desired answer just by searching. When that doesn't work you usually find some other interesting things while you are searching that help you to phrase your current question better.

So am I good? I never take the lazy route and I always try to fing an answer either by googling it or searching it here. Then I come here for the questions. It just seems like this is the only place where you can find legit info on the explorers.

i don't know what questions you've been asking, but i know i tend to ignore questions that have been asked and answered over and over again and questions that are just too vauge to offer an opinion on. like bronchole said, do some searching first. i never ignore a question based on who asked it.

I tend to ignore the threads titled "I need help" or "whats wrong". If the poster cant give some form of hint in the title, I wont even read the thread.

So am I good?

Yes. Chill out and have a cookie with some lemonade. :D

I was wondering why you asked this and figured you had some ignored posts. Your threads look to have been active, except for the rear seat question.

Explorer express used to sell a rear facing box type jump seat with seat belts. The pictured ad showed 2 small children sitting on it facing the rear. It no longer seems to be available there though.

Thanks so much for the back seat info!! I'll see if I can find any next time I go to the junkyard.
