Am I crazy...

I have a 1999 SOHC X and have noticed a dramatic performance improvment during the cold weather (it has been around 10-20 degrees F lately in NJ). Am I crazy, or has anyone else noticed the same thing? Also welcome thoughts on why this is.

Colder, denser air intake.

Blow a balloon up in your 70 something ambient temperatures in your house, and then stick it in your freezer and come back some hours later.

You'll notice the same air fits in alot less space... same prinicple, you are fitting more air in per cylinder, thus you are able to inject more fuel, and you are able to get a more powerful burn per each firing of the piston.

Colder air = denser air = more power... hence the concept of the intercooler.
