I got two Infinity 12" subs each @4 ohms...
Im thinking about getting one mono amp that is stable @ 2ohm to run both subs

Now the question, to get these two subs to 2ohm I have to wire them in parrallel correct?

To wire it tell me if this correct

From the AMP + I go to Sub1 + and from Sub1 + I got to Sub2 +
From the AMP - I go to SUB1 - and from Sub1 - I got to Sub2 -

Is that the correct way to wire them in parrallel and get the speakers and subs down to 2 ohms

or do I go from the AMP + to Sub1 + and then take another wire and go from the AMP + and go to the Sub2 + and then do the same thing for the negative terminals

Thanks

Dwyane

Both ways you described puts the subs in parallel. All you're changing is where you're landing the wires.

that's a good reference, crutchfield & sounddomain have similar drawings too...
easy rule...for parrellel, connect all positives together, and all negatives together,
for series, connect + to - , + to - etc...
