Ok I ordered a new headunit from crutchfield... when I was checking out online it asked me if I wanted to buy the amp bypass for like 30 more, but I didn't get it.. because I have never had to use it.. anyways, when I got my stuff, one of the harnesses is like 20 feet long.. the speaker harness.. what the hell is this... and it has an amp bypass booklet with it. I have installed plenty of head units but what the hell is going on here haha...

those are the wires that come with the speakers if you want to wire everything yourself

i ordered just an amp bypass from crutchfield and it was less than $20 and had the premium HU to car harness and the amp bypass harness

how hard would it be to wire the speakers myself, I ask because my wires are sorta coroded and stuff... like sometimes a speaker will quit working for a few seconds.

i doubt the factory wires are corroded..... they probably just have lose connectors on them... it isnt hard at all to wire your own speakers like wiring a light bulb... + to + and - to -

Im saying its hard to wire it through the doors and all that... it would take awhile would it not? When I took the old speakers off the other day, and broke the old connector off, and cut some cover off the wire, they were dulled until i rubbed my finger on them and shined them up.
