Yeah... I have absolutely no idea what people are saying about amp bypass kits...
I bought an HU wiring kit and I installed that. The HU was running great but the speakers didn't get any sound. I had to connect the remote turn on wire to get some sound out of the thing. So now I'm just wondering what exactly do I have to do to do an amp bypass?
I read from past posts that the amp is behind the right passenger side panel. Is there anything I have to do physically to this amp or do I even have to take off this panel? If I need to what is the technique to take the panel off, what tools do I need and how long with procedure takes. Also where do I mount the bypass kit and where would I go about connecting it to the deck and wiring harness?
I'd really appreciate if somebody could just run me through step by step what they had to do and the general connections, taking panels off, precautions, etc...
I don't want to do anything to end up burning down my X.
