For my 93 explorer, i had the premium system with the stock amp and what not, so i tool everything out and am fiddling and i need to know which side, (top or bottom) is the input and which is output. i bought the amp bypass and cut it so i could hook up my 4 channle, but is it the input the littlewires connected by the smaller of the harness' or is it the big harness going to the big wires....that might sound confusing but i am very confused, thaanks

Ford Premium Sound Amp

The 8-pin connector has the line-level speaker inputs to the amplifier. The 14 pin connector has the eight amplified speaker signal wires on top, and the six lower pins (not all used) are for for the amplifier Power, Ground, and Sense lines.

regards,

Jeff
