hey guys
i was wondering if anybody knew which amp i should choose. I have two mtx thunder 4000's at 200 watts each and i was thinking about buying a two channel pioneer for $120 with 150x2 watts, or a Boss Riot at $120 at 150x2 watts or a power acoutik for $150 with 180x2 watts or a Sony for $160 for 165x2 watts. Any suggestions?

You have to find which one will fit your amps the best. It is not as easy as my subs are 200 this amp is 150x2. What ohms do your subs run the 200 at? Is that RMS or peak? Are the amps rated at 150 RMS or peak? Find out what your subs require at RMS and at what ohm, then find the amp that will match.

my suggestion would be to steer clear of those three amps

on those 4000's, which are 4 ohms a piece any of those amps will work, they are all pretty cheap budget amps. IMO of those pick the pioneer or sony. Some of the power acoustik amps are decent for the price too.

my subs are 200 RMS and 400 peak at 4 ohms
