My buddy has a nice honda sports car, he put amsoil in it and saw a 3mpg increase over the mobil1 he was using. My truck is a 94 limited, so I do not expect similar results.
My truck has mobil1 5w30 extended performance synthetic in the engine, mobil1 syhthetic in the rear and front diff. Mobil1 MerconV synthetic in the transfer case and transmission.

What sort of increase could I expect by switching the engine oil to amsoil? What about after switching the transmission and all other fluids to amsoil?

Its doubtful that you will see much if any increase from the switch.

However, the other benefits of using Amsoil would make it a prudent move.

Good luck ....

Amsoil is much better for the parts, and lifespan. Real mpg gains usually only show up when changing many fluids from regular types to synthetic. I'm almost done with one truck, and just beginning with the other.
