annoying door chime

A while ago I installed indiglo gauges in my 97 explorer sport. Shortly afterward I noticed that my car chimed every time I opened the doors as if my lights were on or my keys were left in the ignition or something like that. It makes the noise regardless of weither the headlights are on or off. I ignored it for a while but now it is really starting to irritate me, any help would be appreciated.
