Well, I got my Procomp 31x10.50 today and went to get them mounted, and they fit perfectly. Its a big difference from the good year/firestone combo I had before, ya know the ones like stock?? It is a little bumpy on start up, but no complaints from me, just ahve to test them out off-road. I just sold my body lift, but I think I will be getting one pretty soon to allow for some clearance. Does anyone have any pics of a 91-94 w/ 3" body and 31" tires?? I wanna see if it looks better. Thanks I will be getting some pics pretty soon, and I will be puttin my explorer in the before/after forum.

Rocky, see if you can follow our thread on the Serious Explorations Forum. It's called Attack on Attica- the aftermath. There are some links to pix from our run and there's Scot's Explorer there with a body lift and 31X10.5 tires on it on stock rims. Although, I think he's got only 2" of a lift. Scot's is this tan colored one.

Green one is mine, doesn't look bad even with no lift but your stuff would certeinly make it look great.

Thanks,

I thought I heard my name.......

hehehe...yeah...i have a 2" body lift. here are some pics....

Now....since this one is a 2" from Performance Accessories, I didn't raise my bumper with my body. It came with brackets to raise the bumpers, but they are for the 3" kit. Some guys on here have drilled new holes and messed with them to get them to work. I started to do that, then 4 bloody knuckels and 3 new curse words later, I just gave up. It doesn't look horrible, but you can tell there's a difference. Just my 2.34 cents...

Who's newer model explorer is that behind yours? I would love to ask him some questions about his roof tire mount..
thanks

Jason

Go to 'General Exploration' , 'roof rack option', it belongs to a guy named Cameron(don't know him personally). But there is a photo of it that shows it a little closer up than the one here.
BTW,......this is my 200th post!!!!; :p :D :) :o:

Performance Products.

Cameron got his roof rack from someone else though but they sell these too and are pretty cheap. He got it with the tire mount and a plate to mount the lights too. It was like $260.00. Cheap. Looks nice up close. I had a chance looking at it and will get one tomorrow again. Was thinking about getting one too. Man! So many things to do with your Explorer, so little time (and dough).

Sigh!

I also just put on some 31x10.5, but BFG. They are SSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the *&%&*@! Firestones that I had before. They fit perfectly. There is no rubbing anywhere. Guess I am also one of the lucky ones who can fit them right out the box. However, seeing the way it looks, I want eh 2.5 duff lift and modify it to 3.5. It will look way cool. And yes, there will be Before and After picks soon!!
