Hey guys...I have a 4x4 problem. I push the 4x4 button on the dash....it lights...but is is not going into 4 wheel drive. I got it stuck coming into my driveway tonight in about 2 inches of snow. The back end kept sliding to the left...any ideas??

I am sorry...it is a 1993 Explorer...Check the hubs?? I am not mechanically inclined whatsoever :)

...if your transfer case is engaging, that is good...if you have auto hubs or manual hubs, they may be the problem...if one hub is not working, you will be in 2wd even if your transfer case is engaging...do a search for hub, or hub repair...good luck...:D

center of front wheels looks like a can if you have auto hubs there will not be a knob if you have manual hubs there will be a knob turn it to the lock position
