New member here, my name is Dave, live in Pasadena, Maryland... moved here recently from Arizona.
I have a 1998 Explorer XLT with the 5.0L engine. Modifications are dual exhaust with Flowmasters, J-mod on the tranny, and a Class III Hitch receiver.
About 145,000 miles, and I've had it for about a year.
Everything seems to work pretty good. Things I need to do are figure out how to lower the front end about an inch so it sits level, new shocks for the front, and I have a cracked EGR flex tube coming off the exhaust manifold.
Since I've had it, I've had to replace the Cam Position Sensor assembly, couple of bulbs, new tires, oil change and filter change. Running Royal Purple ATF and Castrol GTX 10-30.
Not sure what else I can say... I do have a factory service manual (to big thick volumes) and I'm planning on towing a car trailer with a 3,000 Mustang on it, on a regular basis.
