2000 Explorer XLT
Well I just bought my first Explorer. It's my 4th Ford, the first three being pickups. Just thought I would post up a hello. My Explorer is a 2000 xlt 4door. Hopefully I won't be coming here because of problems, just for upgrades!
Alright, going to go search on what's the best offroad tire size without modding the suspension and how to replace the backlight behind my fuel gauge.

Welcome to the forum!

To replace the backlight on the fuel gauge, you will need to pull the cluster and replace the bulb.

Yep, I hit that write up yesterday after a short search. Thanks! Though I'm undecided if I'll go with LED's or just plain bulbs, I'll probably replace all of them considering the trouble it takes to get to the cluster. I'm probably going to try and replace the bulb in my foglight switch, 4x4 switch, and headlight switch since they all are exposed in the process of getting to the cluster.

Also on the lookout for good camping spots with light/moderate/whatever a stock Explorere can handle offroad terrain in the PA area. I know about Paragon and plan on checking it out.

Berwick if you've heard of it. I think the offroad park is in Hazleton right? I can't go look just this second because I'm supposed to be sleeping. Early morning tomorrow.
