1993 Explorer XLT
I'm on a limited budget but I'd like to put a 3" body lift on my 1993 explorer xlt and buy some larger tires. My question is how much would a decent but cheap body lift run me, and what's the largest tires i could put on it without trimming?

Also, I've noticed that my x runs a little rough even when just driving up a driveway.. what could I do to fix that problem and make the ride much smoother?

Look at around $75.00 for a good body lift, keep in mind there be welding for the shifter and as I have experienced with all body lifts a little bit on modification i.e bumper brackets etc. I run 31x10.50 with a 2.5" suspension. You might be able to run 33's but your tires might eat your fendrwells off road as well as tire rub at full turn depending on your wheel backspacing. As for the rough running, a little more info would help, such when was the last tune-up, what mods to the motor if any have been done? The fine folks on this board are full of good info, hope I have given a bit of good info for you
