I know there are several threads on this, but of course, my problem seems a bit different.
I have a 2002 EB with the 4.0L V6 & the electronic dual climate control.
The heat is lukewarm at best, enough to keep the windows defrosted but not much else. It doesn't matter if it's defrost, floor or vent & both sides (drivers & passenger) are the same.
I've done the obvious, flushed the system, new control valve, thermostat, & coolant cap.
The truck runs normal temps according to the gauge & the coolant does get hot & I've checked for air pockets.
I found this thread; http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=330735 & the audio clip in post #2 is exactly what my blend doors sound like.
I also ran the diagnostic tests from this post; http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2095985&postcount=81
and from the on demand test, (the first one from that post) got a display of 12-59 degree C. It had the little circle symbol after the 59; I assume that was for degrees?
Running the second for the continuous DTC's, I didn't get any errors.
Does anyone know what might be the problem or what that 12-59 C code is before I take this thing to the dealer?
I don't want to throw anymore $ at it until I have a good idea what's going on.
