Well, after learning about the ohms,(i am running 2 DVC dual 4 ohms, wired to two ohms a peice) i realized that i am running 4 ohms, which means my amp isnt at its full potential = waste of my money, but I am gonna return my subs this weekend and order new ones from crutchfield or some other place, so I am asking your opinion. Infinity's, or kickers. This way i can be wired for a 2 ohm load. I am open to other subwoofer options too, just has to be in that price range.

Infinity:

Kicker:

BTW- I have the infinity 611a 657watt rms x1 @ 2ohms

Thanks for all your help

a freind of mine has 2 12 infinity reference 1250w subs in a sealed box with a 1200 watt amp and its loud....very loud it sounds really clean to i would recomend those or some rockford fosgate p1 or p2 subs all are very good quality, i only have 1 12 in infintiy and its decent so 2 would be rediculous.....go for it

The Kappas have a high sensitivity, and the BOGO offer from Crutchfield is a good deal.

whats it mean by high sensitivity, and which BOGO deal is good, the kappas, or the references

I am talking about the Kappas. Sensitivity via a Crutchfield Advisor link...

Think of a speaker's sensitivity like this — it tells you how effectively the speaker converts power into sound. The higher a speaker's sensitivity rating, the louder it will play on the input power it receives. A speaker rated 3 dB higher than another, for example, requires much less power to produce the same output, or volume.

but if i'm running 2ohms from each sub, its a total of 4ohms, i cant go any lower than that

yep, makes perfect sense, they are both wired to 1ohm, therefore 2ohm load, DVC 2ohms are too hard to find, im gonna get the SVC 4ohm and wire those to a 2 ohm load..

That'll work. DVC 2 ohms aren't hard to find, you just typically wont find them on entry level subwoofers.

hmm, the only 2ohm DVC i really like are those kicker's, but the infinity 12.1 deal from crutchfield is way too good to pass up, i'd rather pay the 50 bucks more.
