- '91 Explorer Sport
I've searched on this subject, but I can't find anything like my particular situation. I took my 91' Explorer sport in to a local shop, and had the heater core replaced, had a tune up, oil-change, and the fuel injection system cleaned. Now when I got it out of the shop, I noticed that my whole cab/front end had a ahake to it, the more I accelerated, the worse the shake got. A couple days later, I took it back, and the guy told me that one of the plugs? wasn't firing at all, and that was what caused the shaking, so he replaced it. Again, I take it out of the shop, and take it to Midas where I had the tires rotated, aligened, and had the entire front end inspected. Everything was fine, until I drove from Chattanooga to Nashville, and the shaking started again. It's not near as bad, but it's still there!! I really don't thing that it has anything to do with the tires or alignment, because the shaking didn't start until after I went and got it tuned-up? The engine also sound a little off in the way that it sounds? The shake is in the steering wheel, gas pedal(pretty much the whole fornt). Can anyone help me out here? I would take it back to the shop, but I can't leave town right now. Thanks.
