1995 Eddie Bauer
Just bought a 95 Eddie Bauer. It has what appears to be later model 16" Ford rims ( real nice), chrome, with 255/75/16. Any thoghts? Comments? I see mostly people running 15" rims.

I've got the 3-spoke chrome 16's with 255/75/16 also. I think they look good when they are cleaned and polished a lot, but when they get dirty they don't look nearly as well. 15 inch rims and tires are typically cheaper to replace, but the 3rd gens come with 16's also. If I were to replace mine I'd probably go with 16 again because I like the larger rim look.

95,96,97,98's had 16 chrome rim's as a option..they came with packages

The "tri-star" chrome plated steel rims are standard on '95-pre production '98 Eddie Bauer and Sport with certain packages. Polished aluminum 16" teardrop wheels are available from '98- early '99 Eddie Bauer and Sport models with certain packages and just clear coated ones from late '99-'01 aforementioned models. Limited didn't have 16" rims until '99 model year. The rims are five-spoked alloys.

All of the wheels comes with 255-70-R16 tires.

Note: '96-'97 Eddie Bauer models with V8 engines come with 15" five-spoke chrome plated steel rims and certain '97-'99 or '00 Sports have them also with 235-75-R15 tires.
