The power seats on my '92 E.B. work in every position, except for the one I really need. The seat does'nt move far enough forward for me to reach the pedals. I have pillows to lean back against, so I can be far enough forward to reach them. I'm 5'9", so no it's not that I'm too short. It seems will go all the way back, but only moves about 2 inches going forward. I checked for blocked rails, and other obstructions. I greased the tracks, but still nothing. The motor sounds healthy, but does stop (no continous "whine") when you hold the button forward. I don't want to buy a seat from the junkyard, as they probably won't work either. My question to anyone, and everyone is, is there a way to "manually" move a power seat? Either some type of release, or maybe a bolt that can be "ratcheded"? All help is appreciated, as my wife wants me to return the pillows back to the couch!
