OK, it's 9:00 PM. Who is home? How was it? Who showed? I want details!!!

Robb

I'm home. Me, Brian, Chris, and Danny showed up. I had a good time. Now, to get ready to go party.... :D

I got home around 5pm, but it only takes me 15 minutes to get from Rawlely Springs to H-burg....I had a great time today! Danny (dgibson) showed some caution at first, but once we got him around him some mud and water he showed his true spirit! John (yob_yeknom) and his IFS punished us all with ground clearance, he was able to ride over eveyrhting w/o placing a single wheel. Chris was just Chris and his converted 4x2 to 4x4 sport, he just went with the flow usually following behind my stupidity and goose pedal. Chris was also more than willing to pull Danny out of a stuck mud pit as well after we convinced Danny to charge a more than 3' deep ice/mud put. To tell you the truth all East Coast guys who didn't make this run  my goose pedal was in much more trouble than Chris' (Isles4Evr) 4x4 conversion, Danny's (dgibson) 35's, courage and 4.10's and John's (yob_yeknom) 3" body, 31's and methodics....I scraped a lot more than i thought I would.....as always....

I think I have TOO much courage.........:fire:

You guys are truely worthy of being in the brass balled battalion. I am hoping to make the next trip that you make. I think my X is about ready. So bring on the pictures and stories.

Nah. I just got to watch what did or did not work for you guys before I had to try it. That made choosing my line a lot easier. ;)

I got home around 8ish last night, drank a beer, and went to bed. My X did pretty good, but it still needs gears. Bryan (VBVA) still amazed me, along with my friend that rode, with his stock x that did just about eveything that I did (except for Waterfall rock), and the smile on his face everytime he scraped was great. John (yob_yeknom) made all the obsticals look easy even with limited ground clearence and IFS. And I think we got Danny (dgibson) hooked on trails now, as I could tell he had a lot of fun showing us what his 9" of lift and 35's could do.

I enjoyed being last in line for the previous run because I could do the same thing.... saw all the lines that people took, where they slipped, etc and had less trouble.

Here are a few pics to hold yall over until I get all them on here...

You guys defintely have me hooked. Hey, getting stuck was half of the fun. We went back to the first trail to take a few pics of that one hill and to get a good flex shot. We only went to that first hill we all did and decided to go ahead and head home. When we stopped to unlock the hubs on the way out, the front of the nerf bar on the passenger side fell off. I'll send you all the pic so as to put it on here.

John, Chris, and Brian, thanks for an outstanding day. With the exception of when I have to go to Cali and go over to Iraq for a couple months, I am game for whenever. Thanks for the trip fellas.

I posted the rest of the pics on my website. Note, it is not dial up friendly right now... 14 images that are each the size of the images above. I need to thumb them so it is faster loading, but I'll do that later. Just click the link in my sig and look for GWNF #2 on the red link buttons.

Looks like you had a good time on a beautiful winter day. I'm sorry I missed it. Well, at least one of my son's (my design, their paint job :D) pinewood derby cars came in in 3rd place.

Chris,

Your pics turned out really good. Maybe I will send you some of mine and you can post them. The trip was really fun.

Danny, do you use AOL Instant Messenger?

If so, what is your name?

Danny, sure thing. If you need them scanned I can do that too, a friend of mine just got a printer/fax/scanner.

I know we have some more pics floating around.. lets see em

Mine are loaded on my comp, I am just gonna wait til I get my elite status sometime in the next week (whenever I get the time to fill out the e-paperwork) and post them then...
