anybody have swamper/thornbirds

i was lookin at some nice wheels the other day and some guy at the counter was pickin up some tires, so my nosey self had to see what he got, he showed me the most aggressive tires ive seen in a while, they were 33" swamper thornbirds. I asked the guy at the counter what sizes were availible, and ones that i could fit to an explorer he said were: 29",30" and maybe 31". I think stock tires are like 29" overall diameter. I was wondering if anybody had these, and if i could fit 31"s with a torsion twist/add-a leaf.(oh and if i would have to change gears/ speedo?)

I think you're problem is going to be not so much the height, but the width...they come really wide compared to normal tires. And I must say, they are one of the loudest tires you can buy on the road.
