Anyone done the "peanut butter wax"?

If you're stuck on using edibles, pickup a gallon jug of cooking oil for under $5. It will have the same effect, even better in most cases, as the peanut butter.

I've used tire-shine on my plastics and it works wonders, Mothers back to black is great as well. The only downside to using pb or cooking oil is it will attract a lot of dirt if you get to much oil on it and don't give it a good wipe down after treatment.

There is also the "Heat-gun" method for treating weathered plastics.

hmmm, this is similar to an old car show trick, except no peanut butter, use trans fluid,

yes, just put it on a rag and smear it all over, wait about 20 minutes, and rub it in, and than rub it off and shine,,
i did it to my really faded 1990 Ranger, made the black paint black again, and made my plastic on my 96 Ex look great again,

I noticed if I smoke when I drive it attracts the ash coming off and wil just sit there in one piece til I flick it off. I dont see any excess dirt getting attracted though.

Smoking is bad for you and stinks up the Ex, don't smoke;)

^I know its bad Im in the process of quitting. The $7.25 a pack is making it a whole lot easier too. And somehow my ex doesnt smell, Ive asked non smokers who have been in it and they say it doesnt smell at all like it, guess those little pine trees really do their job!

Glad to hear you are quitting, more mod money for the Ex:D

This will help you quit, "smoke tires, not drugs!!!"
