Anyone happy with their Ex?

Even though MFT is terrible, I'd buy again.

I just dropped my X off for an update to the MFT software, and I got a 2010 Explorer as a rental. It really made me realize how nice the new one is!!

I would buy another X in a heartbeat, and am thinking about replacing my wife's next year when we finish paying it off (have 9 months left). I've been extremely disappointed with the MFT software, but even more frustrated with Ford's lack of accountability to the opportunities with the system. Yes, it is functional, but if you use more than the radio, you will run into glitches. Some that require a reset of the system. Many have theorized that it is because of peripherals attached (like your phone or some other device by USB), but I've experienced almost all of my issues when nothing was connected.

The drive is exceptional, and the Adaptive cruise is incredible. It's smooth and quite, and just fun to drive.

I still have faith that Ford will figure it out, but I've had mine 9 months and still waiting. I just wish they'd admit they have issues with the system, and devote some capital into making it right for the consumer quickly. To have so many still having issues after 9 months of release seems like they aren't listening to the customers...

Buy one!!! They'll figure the MFT out, but hopefully you won't have to wait 9 months or more to get it right.

I'm very happy with my Ex LTD. Apart from the few little things that have been mentioned, like the A Pillar rattle, I am very happy with it! I compared a lot of vehicles prior to buying this and the Ex came out on top and is still proving to be a great choice! Being the first batch of a brand new generation, a few issues are expected, but there are fixes for them and I'm sure Ford is working on that. I'd imagine that the 2012 would have a lot of the issues of the 2011 worked out.

Most issues are, I think some of the MFT issues are still hanging around, I have about 300 miles on the x and nothing from the 2011 issues, cross you fingers.
