Anyone know how to take out the 4wd and is it worht it

I am thinking about switching over to 2wd but i don't know how to go about doing it. I want to put in air bag suspension but it will be a lot pricier to work around the 4wd. Has anyone here taken out their 4wd.

its alot of work, you have to change the knuckles, remove the front diff and half shafts, front driveshaft, t-case and then you have to find a 2wd tailshaft and extension housing. do a search this has been addressed before. its alot more work than its worth imo.

you can do it, but unless you have a vast mechanical knowledge or a lot of $, i wouldn't attempt it...

i would sell the 4x4 and then buy a 4x2 and mod that one....

There seem to be some people who have 2x4 that want
4x4 track some down and theh just trade trucks. Then do the mods you want!
