Anyone really like snow? I live in southern New Hampshire and we got hit pritty good on Christmas. I had some white out conditions driving at night. Scary stuff. Great powder. We got around 16 to 18 inches. It was great. I want to go in a feild or on trails when its like that. Unfortunatly there is no where really around here to do that. So I'm left with jumpin the islands in Supermarket parkin lots and goin over grass hills with 16 inches of powder on them. I live right down the street from a golf couse. I'm tempted to go out there at 2 in the morning and lay a long drive out the back nine. LOL! Just woundering if any of you have some good stories about runnin your X's and Rangers in the sno.:D

SNOW!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE SNOW!!! ya here on LI we had rain most of the day. then around 5pm it changed over to heavy snow.. and snowed hard untill after 12am.. we got 11.5 in at my house.. i love it!! 11.5 in in 7 hours.. thats a lot. i had work at 8 so i was driving in the moddle of it.. and i had to stop on the road a few times cause i could not see out my windows. i could not see the road.. i love it!! going out to play tonight!!!

Snow? What's that? Seriously though, I haven't seen snow that actually stuck to the ground since I was a little kid...:( Maybe someday:)

I love snow...I was out in the X playing around for a long time last night when it was snowing it was great.

A year ago me and my friend where ripin it up in this parkin lot. One side of the lot was clean down to asphult and the other side was 12 inches of sno and there was a sno bankin from the plow truck that devided it. I had a great idea at the time. I was goin to drive as fast as i could through the bankin like in those new car comercials. Hahah. Not a good idea. I drove up to the bank first and pushed it. It was soft. So then I backed up as far as I could. I looked at my buddy and said, "This is goin to be fun". So I dumped the clutch and riped threw 1st and then 2nd and then BANG! I smashed the bankin and the front of the X went straight into the air. All I saw was sky and hood. Then the back tires hit and sent the front end stright down. My friend hit his head on the roof. And I basically soiled my self after that. The bankin was frozen snow. My ballz hurt after that. Ball joints that is.........

Snow is awesome. Going to drive to Pittsburgh tonight. This will be the first time the x has seen snow since I put the 35's on it. Hopeing to do some trail riding. I know of a few trails through there. Should be fun.

I got stuck. In my own freakin drive-way. I came home from work and came flyin up the drive and drove it in to the sno bankin, LOL. I went to back out but all i got was tire spinnn! Dame... X is to low. And I put it in 4 wheel low and I knoticed my front tire wasn't spinning. I hope the right front was........

you living in texas may have something to do with that....last time i watced the weather for texas (about a month 1/2 ago) temperatures were still close to 80 degrees LOL that not exactly winter weather

I would love to be able to play in the snow, we get very little, mostly ice, which sucks to drive on!

Before I got the Sequoia I got my Lexus stuck at the bottom of the driveway in about 5-6 inches (before the road was plowed too by the way, its TERRIBLE in the snow), my son was already gone to school in the Explorer, and my wife drives a New Beetle so that was no help to me lol. I tried shoving it out with her driving it, but the ol back ain't what it used to be. Finally this minivan full of big spanish men happened along clearing driveways, and I told them I'd pay them double whatever they were asking for the driveways if they shoved the car out into the street and cleared the driveway so I wouldn't get stuck again when I got home. They did, and luckily they were only charging $25 a driveway lol. Once I was out on the roads I was okay, they weren't plowed but they were pretty mashed down.

Then we got the Explorer stuck at the end of the driveway during a blizzard, we got almost 15 inches and it was too much, got stuck underneath the truck.

Actually, I haven't been stuck anywhere but the end of the driveway in a long long time lol.

Yeah, that may have something to do with it... I could have been wearing shorts today... Maybe I should move

X-mass was great i got my license on the 23rd and snow on the 25th and the first real storm sence owning the truck..It was fun but it had a hard time getting up a steep hill with 10 inches of snow..Going down was worse. The scary part sliding toward the tree lol

snow is great! i love passing all the stranded ppl on the road! snow isn't anything to my X but ice is another story! i HATE ICE!!!!!!!!!!

I love snow also... though I grew up in Maine so I have to, right? I've done some driving up there in the snow, some offroading and it was great. No pics from there to speak of unfortunately, as I got my dig. cam late and had both hands on the wheel so I didn't have a free one for the cam? heh
We too got some over Christmas which was great... only 6inches or so but hey, snow is snow! We don't get enough here in PA (in this area anyhow) but I did take a nice pic of the beast against the 3mi island backdrop. :) Hope to have a pic or 3 up as soon as I find where to post. I tooled around some in the parking lot there for a small thrill and did some in a nearby area where homes were going up. heh I miss real snowfalls of 2+ feet like we used to get in Maine.

The 6 years I spend in Northern Ohio from '92 to '98 everyone there thought I was nuts since even up until the day I left, I always loved it when it snowed (the more the better:)). Of course coming from Arizona had a lot to do with it. Now that I am back here, the only time I get to play in it is the few times I year that it falls over a weekend. So far one good storm this season (last Monday) and I didn't get a chance to go and play:(

We finall got snow here in the Anchorage area. It is currently 9 degrees F. It snowed almost everyday last week. My in-laws were here from N. Carolina and absolutly loved it. Normaly it snows in October, this year we didn't get snow that lasted until the middle of December. But it's here!!

Try this!

I hooked a rope to my long black sled and we pull each other through parking lots and trails behind my X. WARNING!! wear goggles and don't go above 35mph. Trust me on this one!!

i see no snow in the future

That sound fun!~~~ <thats me fish tailin in my X LOL

wbandyjr... where are you in MA??

In addition to the warnings about wearing goggles and staying under 35mph... I'm just gonna add that you should TIE THE ROPE TO THE CAR! Yeah, it may seem like common sense but then again, my friends seem to lack it. Last winter we were snowboarding behind my friends pathfinder off a jump we made... the kid on the snowboard fell off the jump, the rope slingshot under the rear tire, and my friends arm (he was holding the rope out the window) got snapped back and broken in a few places. Not a smart move  Anyways...
