anyone replace their 5 speed shift knob?

hey guys i wanted to get a different shift knob, mines pretty scratched, i was wondering what kind i would need or if anyone had done it? i still cant figure out how to take the stock one off. thanks

You just have to pull really hard and it will pull off.

I'd think just about any aftermarket knob will fit. Look for one that has the 3 small hex bolts that will tighten around the shaft. Grant, apc, etc should all work.

I replaced mine since it would come off frequently after a hard shift into 2nd or 4th (usally sending it flying into the back seat) so I bought a brushed aluminum/leather knob from ichibahn. Looks a lot sharper too.
