I am going to buy some 22 inch american racing torque thrust wheels and wondering what width rim should i run? Something like a 22x9 and what tire size? Thanks

22x 8.5 +28mm or +30mm offset.
22 x 9.0 with +25mm offset
22 x 9.5 with +18 or +20 offset.
All will work fine.

265 35 22 measures at 29.3 inches (stock is 29.6 inches) and is a common size, meaning they are reasonably priced.

265 40 22 measures 30.5 inches, and is the best size to go with as it gives you some extra side wall, but its not a very common size and is typically pretty pricey.

The Edge factory 22's use 265 40 22's you may be able to find a good used set.

When going to 22's make sure you pick up a set of hubcentric fit rings. The $20 bucks will make the difference between a wobble and a tight fit.

Good luck.
