No, sorry, but the explanation on the Magnacor website is much more plausable. There aren't any real tests that confirm any gains with them, and I believe Magnacor when they claim that power is being diverted to those metal jackets, and shortening the life of the wires.
The real issue that average people don't understand is that, spark plug power does not run through the core of the wires, thus measuring wire resistance is more than a waste of time. The power runs around the core, as in magnetic field, thus the insulation is the most important part of plug wires. When the insulation breaks down, even though a connection is being made, engine miss occurs. Then errant electrical interference affects other electrical components, which there are many many near the engine.
Buy the best basic wires that you can. Magnacor, Jacobs, Taylor, and a few others are very good. Stay away from the gimmicks, and the cheap cost auto parts store wires. They will be better than bad wires, but not at the same level as the best. Regards,
