Has anyone used these services? I see there are some on Ebay for $15-20 now, and I'd like to know what results people have had with them.

I could recover the lid myself for less, but I'd be willing to pay a bit more fora better color/texture match.

i redid my moms in her 96 for pretty cheap... i used black leatherlike stuff i got from the fabric store.. her interior is grey, but it contrasts nicely as it matched the black parts of the console

I've thought of that too, but I'm not sure I like the way that looks. I'm also looking at other materials besides vinyl, but haven't decided on anything yet.

Those are pimptastic, but I'm just not sure I'm cool enough for a fake leopard skin console lid. :p

The pic near the end that shows one in black vinyl looks better than I thought. I'm going to check with a couple boat supply places and see what I can get my hands on..

Yeah, I don't think that one was black vinyl. It looks to be more charcoal colored. I think that was a factory color in some explorers.

Hahaha...Section is awesome!! When I had my truck, I went to a fabric store and got some suade like fabric and recovered it. Total cost...$3 and half an hour of labor. Not bad at all.
