My 32's are getting a little bald. I was wanting to go to 33's but wanted to know if I need to get the Sawz all out or it they would clear. Also I'm worried about disconnecting the rear sway bar due to the tension already on the ebrake cable. Any info is welcome. Thanks!!!!!

I'm running 35's w/5.5 and a 2" body lift. I would think you would be fine. What type wheel are you running, backspacing and width?
The e-brake cable will be fine, the tire size has nothing to do with the tension.
Why would you disconnect the rear sway for the 33's ?

Mine don't rub, but then I cut my fenders. I also run 10" rims.
On the rear I added the extened cab Ranger ebrake cable. that gives you plenty of movement. I haven't had my rear sway bar on since I put the lift on.

I have 33"s and a 5.5" lift, the tires rub a lot, mainly when turning under compression. They don't rub too bad on the body, they mainly rub on the sway bar and the radius arm.

Thanks guys for the imput. Perry do you by chance have a part # for the ranger extended brake line.

Mdrut, I would disconnect the sways when going off road for more articulation. How hard would it be to add a small body lift???? I really have no clue on what a body lift consists of besides the hockey pucks.

I don't remember the number but I just used one off a 94 Ext-Ranger. Bought it from Ford

Perry, a little off the subject but how do you like your locker?

Hey Mdrut, what gears do you have with your new setup? I am assuming you have a manual tranny but I am curious as to how the power is. I cant decide if I want 33's or 35's and there is no good 34's if there were I would definitly split the difference, but I wanna go big

I have the no slip and I love it. On road it is really friendly if you learn to drive a little different such as not gunning it around corners.

On the trails you never have to worry if it is in, or on, you just go. I would suggest it to anyone.

If you are staying with the stock Explorer front end I would say go with 33's. You get bigger then that and you will have bearing trouble I think.
I'm not sure who is running 35's on the stock front end. I know out here you run over a LOT of rocks.
