@CDW6212R Anyone currently near their 1997 Explorer 5.0 that is stock under the hood. There is a curved rubber hose coming off of a port on the side of the engine oil fill tube. I need to figure out where it goes. I looked all over my half disassembled 1997 5.0 today and was unable to figure it out. Thanks for any info in advance!

@Turdle. I thought it did. My brother just put on upper and lower Explorer manifold along with the throttle body from the Explorer on to his '88 mustang and couldn't find a place to hook it up to like it was on his Mustang throttle body. He found a cast place on the Explorer throttle body that would need opened up and a little piece of tube pressed into it to be able to hook to the hose hooked on to the fill tube tap. I believe that's what he needs to do. Thanks!

No, not good. Should be ahead ( upstream) of throttle body by a good foot or so. After throttle body would allow too much vacuum to it.

That is the " intake" to the pcv, connecting it to constant vacuum would ruin the ventilation function.

@Turdle The PCV is on the back of the engine and connects to a port on the bottom of the upper intake. If it is outside of the throttle plate is that ok or do as you are saying?
