Hello all,
While driving my 96 Explorer the Climate Control system suddenly died. It appears there is no power to the control panel. I checked the #18, 15amp fuse and it is not blown and the manual does not show a relay except for the WOT relay which I believe only controls the compressor.
Does anyone know if there is another fuse which is not shown in the owners manual that I can check or perhaps someone has seen this problem before? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy
New information:
Just found out the ATC head is bad on my 96 Explorer and my local Ford dealer is telling the part is obsolete and he can not get one. Anyone have an idea where I could find a new one? I hate to buy a used one and have it go bad in a short time.
Thank you in advance for any help.
Andy
