Are All Springs Alike?

I have an '02 XLT V8 2WD with the Towing Package. I don't tow with it any more and the ride is very harsh (just turned 70k miles). I'd like to replace the struts for a softer ride, but I was wondering, are all the coil springs for my year XLT all the same spring rate? I just assumed that Ford beefed up the suspension as part of the towing pkg. Anybody have some info I can go with. I called Ford parts dept. and they said they didn't know about any different springs.

as for ford parts its one spring fits all. seems like the '02's are looking for Monroe Ready Struts, it come with spring and shock. I'd do them in pairs.
