Are my tires shot? Need some feedback, posted pictures.

you did the right thing by replacing those tires (with any brand as long as they're NEW). in the future, visually check your tires anytime you buy gas, rotate and balance them regularly, check the tire pressure at least once a month (s/b around 30 PSI cold) and you'll get the maximum mileage out of them. by the way, does your wife have a large ad&d life insurance policy out on you?

I would've suggested going with new Michelin LTX M/S 2's for the price and the $70 rebate, but after seeing how the old ones fared, I don't blame you for going with something else.

Glad to see you got new tires, but be sure to get them rotated front to back every 5-10K this time and check the pressure every so often and they should last a good while.
