You got it!

To replace you will have to remove the pin. That is done with a Dremel tool and a cutting blade or a bolt cutters. I did mine using an ebay on five years ago and it's still good.

Good luck!

I got one of those 20-30 dollar replacements off ebay - what a difference. The updated version has the metal bracket inside - it is rock solid, more than the original ever was from the factory.

I placed the order yesterday so I'm hoping to get it in about a week or so. It's really annoying not having that there. I used it to get in the Explorer.

I'm stuck!

How do I get it on the new bracket? Do I have to use brute force?! I don't want to risk messing something up. Is there a way to adjust that damn pin so it goes on easier?

I put it in place, and basically used brute force. It snaps in. You won't get this with your fingers IIRC

Glad you got it. I had to buy a large C-Clamp, but I can no longer remember its expressed purpose, so I didn't mention it.

where on ebay are these brackets? I'm just seeing whole armrests and the bracket....

go to http://www.tiny.cc/NkdKo

that should take you to the search i did.

if it doesn't, do a search on ebay motors for 91-94 ford explorer (they have fields for those) and "bracket" in the keyword part. should bring them right up

I now have my armrest back!
