Ok so my dad has been less than thrilled with the sidewalls of his RT/s that he seems to replace about 3 a year because of the deer lease. We have road hazard so we havnt paid a thing for a long time.

We're however looking for a better tire. He kind of wants to stick with Goodyear. I was wondering a few things. (i have at/s on my jeep but it needs swampers at some point anyway)

1. How do the sidewall in the RT/s and AT/s compare??
2. Are the MT/R drivewable on the road for a person who only does about 30 days a year offroad and the rest of the time driving to work etc.
3. I have the AT/s in a 31x10.5x15, should run fine (by search results) does the Explorer get owned by the upgrade in size??

Thanks in advance.

**EDIT month changed to year

There are several people here that have MTRs and they are some awesome tires. If you keep the correct pressure and keep them rotated they will last a long time and they are pretty quiet. I would go with the MTRs, hell they look cool also.
