Atlas 2 Driveshaft question (Att Rick,Ray,Jefe)

Ok, my Atlas 2 order is on the waiting list, now I need to figure out what to use for the drive shafts before the order is final, right its getting ordered with 1310 CV front and rear, Anyone have any suggestions on which yokes to order it with to make my install alittle less of a PITA... OR... what would work the best

Mine was shipped with a CV style yoke in the rear and a non CV yoke in the front. Since I had to have new shafts made up anyway, I kept the setup like that, which is opposite of how the Explorer is normally setup.

I don't have a vibration problem with the non-cv U-joint in the front and the angles are good, so... no problem.

It's really up to you at this point since they can ship it however you want.
 






Mine also came with a CV rear and non-CV front (even though I didn't order it that way :rolleyes: )
I kept the stock setup: CV front, U-joint rear. I figured ford designed it that way for a reason, why change it.
 






Well, this whole project of mine has been a crash course in how/what most of the parts are on my truck (misc wiring, CV/nonCV shafts) I think mine is ordered CV rear/nonCV front, but I'm not too sure :) I was hoping to keep with the 4bolt flange thing on the rear but I dont even know what the stock Ex driveshaft is...
Does anyone know what type/number the stock driveshaft flange is? I have about 2 weeks to figure out what outputs I want on the atlas...


Current order for my Atlas 2 is 32 spline front/rear outs, 6 bolt 31 spline input +1" spacer (spacer may/maynot be needed) 3.8:1 low
 






Ok, my Atlas 2 order is final now, its being built with 1310 CV front and 1310/1350 (universal ford) Flange AA part # 300470 which will keep the stock bolt on driveshaft set up

For those looking for info:
Stock X T-Case joints are:
Front: 1310 CV
Rear: 1310 Flange (i think) w/ 2" pilot x 3.5" bolt circle (4 bolts)
